Senior DevOps consulting, without the agency.

I've spent 14 years building cloud infrastructure at scale — at financial services firms, enterprise SaaS companies, and in my own homelab just for fun. Now I help startups, scale-ups, and engineering teams solve the same infrastructure problems, without the overhead of an agency or the commitment of a permanent hire.

the proof

I build this stuff for fun.

Outside of client work, I run a 6-node k3s cluster on Proxmox — GitOps with Flux, triple-replicated DNS, full Prometheus/Grafana observability, and a 3-2-1 backup strategy. Not because I had to. Because I can't stop thinking about infrastructure.

That's what separates someone who knows the tools from someone who uses them every day.

  • Ansible — configuration management at scale
  • Docker and Kubernetes platform engineering
  • Observability — metrics, logs, alerting
  • Runbooks, docs, and knowledge transfer

delivery pipelines

GitLab & GitOps

  • Self-hosted GitLab — installation, HA, upgrades
  • Advanced CI/CD — DAG, child pipelines, matrix builds
  • Kubernetes runner fleets and autoscaling

  • Review environments and release automation

engagement models

How to work together

From a single-day audit to a long-term advisory — pick the format that fits your situation.

Infrastructure Review

1–2 days

A focused audit of your current setup. Written report with findings, risks, quick wins, and a 30/60/90-day improvement plan.

Implementation Sprint

2–4 weeks

Pick one or two problems and fix them properly — IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes, or observability. Scoped before work begins.

Monthly Advisory

Ongoing

Strategic oversight, architecture decisions, and code reviews on a regular cadence — staying ahead of problems before they happen.

Emergency Support

Ad hoc

Something's broken and needs fixing now. Available for urgent, time-sensitive troubleshooting with a fast response.
